Superstition

So how superstitious are you? I am a huge fan of rituals and superstition. I trace it back to high school wrestling where you develop a routine to help you get prepared. After wrestling it transitioned to MMA and Gator Wrestling. When I first started gator wrestling I almost got bit on the foot because the gator could see my toes and though they were food so I painted my toenails black and never had that happen again. The black toenail polish worked so well I started painting my toes for MMA fights. Also after my very first gator wrestling class I bought a necklace to remember the event. I still have the necklace to this day although it’s broken right now so it travels around with me in a bag. I now have 2 new lucky necklaces. One is a custom gator tooth viking helmet that Belinda got me from our friend Rob Art. The other is a metal “scute” that Jay from the gator farm gave me. A local artist made several and he was awesome enough to give me one. The day I got bit by the alligator I forgot all my luck necklaces at the house. I’m not saying I’m just saying if I had them there’s a pretty good chance I would still be bite free. I also like to wave at black cows. I picked that one up from a former friend in Texas and while we are no longer friends I still wave at all the lucky black cows I see.  So what are some of yours?
