Sold my first video

I sold my first video Monday. The day after I got bit on the hand the universe threw me a bone. It was a great email to wake up to. The video was the dual perspective of me throwing my son into the air. Did I make a lot? No, but I don’t make videos to make money so some money was great. I kept checking for updates to see how many views it got. I was checking on the site I had sold it to and it really didn’t seem to be doing much. Then I check my vimeo, Holy cow! every time I refreshed the numbers were jumping up 20 to 30 views. In less than 12 hours my kids video had over 5 thousand likes. Dang that sure put a smile on my face and annoyed everyone on my facebook feed who kept getting status updates. We are right about the 36 hour mark and the video is approaching 20 thousand views and has been seen in over 80 countries. I can’t believe such a simple video could go viral and take off like it did. I’m anxious to see what the grand total will be after one week.  Stay tuned!
