Rant: Dead People and Animals

There is a reason I prefer working with the dead and animals. They don’t talk back and aren’t stupid. I set up a fun excursion for The Bucket List Life to go visit Serenity Springs and I timed it so we could go when they had black bear cubs. I have never touched a black bear let alone a black bear cub so I’m super excited about this trip. I was telling someone about the upcoming visit and she told me there was no way she would go because she was afraid of getting mauled and attacked by a black bear. Are you freaking kidding me? You are worried a little baby bear will hurt you and possibly kill you? The cub is right around a month old it is still tiny and incapable of ripping your face off. Do you really think someone would offer the chance to get a picture and have an interaction with the cubs if you could get seriously hurt? Simply put No. She could go and have a wonderful time checking out the animals who are safely on the other side of the fence. But she is probably worried even those will somehow escape and maul her. I’m glad this person isn’t going because it would be tragic to have such a dimwit on site. It’s people like that who should volunteer to embark on a mission to colonize the sun.
